get rid of licence fee and BBC will have to have ads and get paid for what they produce instead of some of the crap we get.
I'd rather have pay as you view,would be much fairer. Most of tv is crap but you still have to pay the same if you only turn it on once a week for an hour.........................
Hhahahahaha we don't have a TV licence here, and we have better telly!!!!!!!!!!! Its a rip off, i reccon all the people in the UK should protest and not pay it!!!!!
It should be related to income, at the moment its a flat rate rather as the poll tax was.
I am happy with the arrangement. I couldn't bear advertisements to interfere with even more programmes. I believe the quality of BBC programmes is superior and I don't mind paying for them, even though I'm a pensioner.
The BBC has become little more than a mouthpiece for the Labour party since the sacking of Greg Dyke.He was sacked for allowing the truth to be told about a document regarding weapons of mass destruction , that had been embellished by Alistair Campbell . As a result of the affair Dr David Kelly,an eminent arms inspector, was assassinated.We would all probably be better off without the BBC as it stands because it is now full of government lackeys and placemen.
scrap the fee,they should have adverts or pay-per-view so we have the choice of watching the rubbish or not.
