Heores season 2..... just 11 episodes?????????????!
Question: Tonight heroes season 2 just started in my country, so i checked out a site and think i saw that the 2nd season has just 11 episodes, is that correct????
If the answer is yes, plz some1 explain me WHY?
is it because the writters strike?

Season 2 was supposed to have 23 episodes and cover two chapters #2 and #3 but then cam the writer's strike which is directly connected to shows like Heroes that offer streaming video of the show on the internet.
So a decision was made on or about December 3rd to make that episode the last one of the season because it ends Chapter #2. There are actually two or three more episodes in the can and ready to go but they will be held until next season.
Also postponed due to the strike is the release of the Heroes spinnoff "Heroes:Origins" which was supposed to release in March but now will be released at some later date.
So who knows how they will handle this season DVD wise or next season episode wise, but; that is the way things worked. And yes, this did make the season finale anti-climactic, no big earth shattering boom this time around. They will have to work to make the thrid season interesting.
But at least you have 11 episodes. We have to watch game shows and reality television.

yup writer's strike. count yourself lucky they ended it early. even Tim Kring, the creator of the show, acknowledged this season sucked.
let's hope they get the next one right and improve a little with the heroes-origins shows.
I know it really sucks! Thats happening to alot of good shows! It might continue after the strike is over...
