Go to in2tv.com. They have the entire series, including the pilot episode, to watch for free. Loved that show. Great source of nostalgia.
I remember that one. I never liked it though because I did not think that George Reeves was good looking. Of course I remember being about 10 when I saw it.
I grew up watching that in the 60s (it was on reruns then) and it brings back a lot of nostalgic feelings. George Reeves is the definitive Superman as far as I'm concerned, because he is the first one I knew.
There was one episode I remember in particular about a town where there was a deep oil well being drilled. Some creatures who lived deep within the Earth came out and were frightening the towns people. Superman came in, at first to protect the towns people from this new menace but ended up protecting the underground dwellers from the lynch mobs after he realized they meant no harm.
It was an unusually poignant episode from that series and left some rather haunting images in my memory of the fears of both the towns people and of the aliens and the horrors of mob rule.
