No, he really isn't crippled. Good news is, the next episode, Nathan finally cuts his hair off.
He is not fully crippled..When the glass hit his spine it didn't fully paralyze him but it is easier for him to be in a wheelchair because he can't walk much and even if he does walk he has to use something to keep him stable and up
No but he has to do physical therapy because of the accident. I don't think he can play basketball again.
