The Wilkins Family of Reading 1974?!
Question: when I was a little girl, I used to love watching this "fly on the wall" documentary called "The Family" - it was about the day to day lives of an ordinary family of Mum, Dad and their kids, their kids other halves, and their grand child.
Does anyone else remember this, and more to the point, does anyone know what has become of the family?

yes i watched this just after having my first kid. i loved it. i think it was the first reality programme on tv.
i think that the young couple who got married are now divorced. not sure what happened to the rest.
they should repeat it on Sky
Yes I do remember it...a breakthrough of its time....didnt they do an update many years later....sorry I cant help anymore...
yep, I do, there was a follow up a couple of years ago, but for some reason, I could not watch it..........that was some family, wonder what they are up to now?????
