I heard that the show got some bad press for being so harsh to contestants and exploiting their social problems for ratings.
but we all love him being nasty it wont be the same if he pussyfoots round the contestants ...one thing i love about him is that hes straight talking
thats what everyone says...."he is so straight talking" the world knows it...stop saying it its so ******* annoying...
(to answer the question) he's still being simon but it does seem like he is being sort of nicer this year
One of my friends was on this season and he told her that she had a horrible voice, had no business singing, and dressed horribly... which is true... but not very civil (she's the asian girl dressed horribly). So... don't buy it. He's still a prick.
I think the real Simon, will be back. Stay tuned.
I think hes being nicer so that when the idiots come out to sing(the horrible ones) it makes his job easier!!!LOL OR Maybe his Doctor gave him a Happy Pill to relieve the stress ?????????? Maybe Tristan's answer has some meaning,,,,Maybe they are only showing clips of a nicer version of Simon???
If he's being nicer, it's definately not much nicer.
I hope he doesn't get too nice. He's straight-forward. I hate it when Paula says, "I really really like you, but you have to leave". She's too syrupy.
It's funny because most of the contestants look towards SImon after they sing....because he gives them the truth. If he's critical it's for their own good....some of those people should NOT be on there and the people who tell them that they can really sing aren't much in the way of friends to want to see them be humiliated on the show. I've liked Simon from the beginning. I agree about Paula..way to wishy-washy. And Randy...Dawg..I like your voice...what do you say Simon? Paula? Does he have to hear what everyone else thinks before he makes up his mind?
NO he is still rude but they are not airing the rude things there was a girl on the news that said he was really rude and they cut out the rude stuff he said about her.
Remember, they only show us a few bits and pieces of the auditions. He could still be being as grumpy as ever and they are just showing some of his softer side. Although I am impressed that he hugged that person the other day. I've never seen him do that before.
