Yes I watched it and I really enjoyed it. I thought it was a cracking good action-adventure episode, with a fairly thin main plot, but with quite a few interesting background story points.
I was pleased to see that they've toned down the gratuitous bad language a bit since the last series, which tended to detract from the story lines in my opinion. Perhaps they could do with toning down the explicit homo-eroticism a bit as well, although it didn't really detract from the story for me. Being omnisexual is supposed to be the norm among 51st century humans after all (as stated in "The Doctor Dances" episode of Doctor Who and implied previously on Torchwood)
It will be interesting to see what they've cut from the pre-watershed version next Wednesday at 7:00 pm. I would think that the male on male snogging might be cut for a younger audience.

I did watch it yeah it did seem to be very camp but I enjoyed the show and the rest of the series looks good.
I think they are just trying to apply to a young generation with all the swearing and the sexual references.

Yes I know where you're coming from (especially if you're a straight man) and it did strike me that this episode was an excuse for a few gay kisses and flirty comments. I don't mind though - I'm not bothered by men kissing and I thought it was a good episode.

yes. I thought it was really good, no I didn't think it was over gay. first time viewer herre, not as good as Doctor who, then again spin-offs usually aren't as good as the orginal. I couldn't watch the first season, I couldn't get BBC 3 on my sky digital. as this season is on bbc 2 I can watch it.

I love James Marsters, loved him in Buffy, loved him in this. I was a little disappointed that it started with him snogging Capt Jack. Feel that would have been as good if they were long lost friends rather than lovers, every one on that show flirts and tries it on with every one else. I think this takes away from what the show is actually about hunting aliens !!!! I am slightly biased I can not stand John Barrowman not in any thing he does, however, saying that I love Torchwood and will be watching more of the series as long as they tone down the sex and play up the aliens !
Yes i did see Torchwood last night and no it wasn't a bit over gay. OK Captain Jack Harkness and Captain John Hart were ex-lovers and had a big long snog in a bar and had a bar fight afterwords and OK the writer RTD is gay. But the series is not due for only gay people, it's all walks of life.

I did, and I loved it. Over-gay? you're kidding me, right? It's SUPPOSED to be gay. and aside from the aliens and whatnot, that's what I love it for. There's no such thing as over-gay in my book, the gayer, the better.
it was pretty good with Capt John playingSpike, a cool car chase, Blur on the soundtrack & Gwen as cute as ever.Couldn't be better !
