I may miss the "fake" Greenlee?!
Question: Oh goodie, the "real" Greenlee is back. I watched when the "real" one was on. I have watched AMC for over 20 years. The actress that took her place was a good replacement as far as I'm concerned and has to have some kudos somewhere. What was her name and what will she be doing now? Anyone know? Rebecca is a good actress but she chose to leave and the other Greenlee took over in a couragous manner. I wish her well. I just hate the term "real Greenlee" cuz there is no such thing as no matter which way you look at it there is no real one cuz it is only a character!!!!

I loved Sabine's Greenlee and I preferred her interpretation of the character over Rebecca's. The actress is Sabine Singh. She isn't doing anything now because she was only given 4 days notice that she was fired, and had nothing lined up. It's also a writer's strike so not many new opportunities. She had a 4 year contract and was praised by ABC for the work she did up until right before she was fired (when Rebecca finally decided to come back). I guess the show can end a contract every 13 weeks even a 4 year contract.
Even Rebecca Budig does NOT like the term the REAL Greenlee. Lately she has talked a lot about Sabine and praised her work and says she regrets how The Powers the Be treated Sabine. Rebecca prefers "ORIGINAL" Greenlee as well.
Anyone who hated the commercials or how Sabine was treated should write in and tell ABC how you feel! Those of us who have spoken out are being heard by ABC now, and instead of taking responsiblity for the ads they're having Rebecca Budig be the one who has to talk about it in the interviews. It's not her fault so why should she have to talk about it? That's ABC who needs to be apologizing and thinking of a way to remedy this situation.

I agree. They could have at least said the "original" Greenlee. I think her name was Sabine.. Something.. I'll have to look that up. I didn't particularly like her, but I still hope she has something else lined up.
I am glad Rebecca is back, they were being a little rude with all the ads. Sabine Singe is the girl who took over and I haven't heard anything about what she has lined up next.
that is really rude to the actress that took over like she was playing a fake person...well she is fake but even faker...does that make sense? well I am sure that you know what I mean.
Some characters are so closely associated with the actors who portray them,that people don't want anybody the portray that character,can you imagine anybody but Susan Lucci playing Erica or Reva Shayne played by anyone other than Kim Zimmer;Deidre Hall/Marlena;Tony Geary/Luke they tried to replace Peter Reckell on Days once,while Robert Kelker Kelley wasn't bad,the character seemed to be a bit stiff until Reckell came back because he is Bo.It may take a couple of days to get used to Rebecca again then it will be forgotten.
I think it should have said the original Greenlee is back but I am one who did not welcome the recast at first. I thought she could not act and that the writers did not do a good job with her character. Then I started to love the recast and the Adian chemistry and was sad to see her go!

At first, I did not like Sabine in the role. Then she became one of the most interesting people to watch-ESPECIALLY out of the Annie-Kendall-Zach-Ryan pentagon. I loved Rebecca as the "old" Greenlee. I am not loving her as the changed Greenlee. I think her scenes with Zach were not believable. Maybe time will change this.
