The first episode of Torchwood series 2 was shown on BBC2 in the UK last night.
James Marsters appeared as the main guest star, playing a character called Captain John Hart, a rogue time agent from the 51st century and an old friend and colleague of Captain Jack (they used to be partners in the Time Agency). See the BBC Torchwood web site for details.

From the trailer at the end of last night's episode, it appears that he will be returning later in the series as well.
I haven't heard that rumor. Check on http://www.imdb.com and they should have a cast list for season 2.
We're getting season 2 starting January 26th in America on BBC America. Can't wait!!

It is true. I saw a commercial and he was in it. I can confirm that the James Marsters we all know and love will have his wonderful fake British accent.
