Boredom...and then I get interested in the stories.
i sit down to watch cuz i get bored at home
and wat keeps me going iz that intresting things come on otherwize i am just drained of energy to get off
i have no other choice.
I don't watch too much tv. When I do it is usually certain programs and mostly it is a comedy so I can laugh. More I am into movies and I will watch movies preferable on Demand so I don't have to watch commercials
Coz its fun.. and teaches me new thing... and i a good time pass.... so its all in one... a great entertainment system.
Some of the shows are interesting and entertaining...

2 to pass the time
3 to umm wach soap opras?
4 to get educated history chanel man vr wild

For news! Be updated, but nowadays, news are turning to bullshit stuffs that are made up resulting in biasness, well except for natural disasters and accidents. Seems like everyone likes bad news...they don't edit!

I am currently here to say, I prefer listening to music rather than watching TV. Or maybe do religious stuffs like praying...
I love watching movies, and reading books; television is like a combo of both for me. I like how TV shows last longer than movies, so you can get caught up longer in the excitement!
it depends on my mood
if i want to learn something then the discovery channel or the travel channel (i <3 No Reservations)
if i to relax then a random movie
and some type of comedy or cartoon if i just need to laugh
but the reason i think that i watch tv is for the comforting feeling of knowing that something is there to make me laugh or cry
its sad but sometimes there is just nothing better to do boredom is also often a factor
