You're correct. A real man would NEVER let his girl call him "my wifey". Like New York said she wants someone she can control. On the show, they were acting as if they were in love with each other & they have moved in with each other. PS Sister Michelle Patterson is now with one of her "Momma's Boy"---Champion!!! Can you believe that!!!
They're living together (they moved in together as soon as they got back from Jamaica -- against productions wishes), and he had a present for her @ the reunion (of course), and it was documents showing that his divorce is final and he's no longer married.
And he proposed to her at the end before he once again picked her up and carried her into the sunsets... He didn't struggle as much this time though. And, she accepted the proposal.
From the reunion, they moved in together right after the show aired and on the reunion show he finally got his final divorce. It ended with New York finally accepting his proposal, so they are engaged and living together.
Yeah it was pretty good. He got attacked by Mr. Wise... They replay it all the time on VH1 I have seen it like 6 times. I also seen Buddah on hell date.. that was funny.

i still dont buy it that she is soooo happy and in love with him. it all seems fake to me unless he is truly that rich of a man ans she is with him for the money.
the best part of the show was when her mom was with the guy that played football and they have been seeing each other unless that was all a set up.
