Does anyone know anything about the alleged spinoff of The Office?!
Question: I read in the latest issue of Maxim that once The Office begins making new episodes, they will add new characters who will eventually get a spinoff. Personally, I hate the idea, but the show has yet to disappoint me (other than NBC and the writers not reaching a deal yet). Any info or links to where I can find out more about this?

According to FoxNews:
"Is Dwight Schrute about to have his own TV series? That’s the buzz at NBC, where new head of programming Ben Silverman could be thinking about a spin-off from the hit sitcom "The Office."
But then according to TVGuide:
"Rainn Wilson in The Office by Mitchell Haaseth/NBC PhotoResponding to a FoxNews.com report (which I never bothered passing along to you) that new NBC overlord Ben Silverman is looking to spin off The Office's Dwight into his own show, a source close to Mr. Schrute's portrayer, Rainn Wilson, tells TVGuide.com that the "buzz" is "totally made up... a complete farce."

A whole spinoff of Dwight, Moze and Schrute Farms would be hilarious! But, to introduce new characters for the purpose of a spinoff would be insulting.
