Production has been shut down. The cast, creator and directors have joined the writers on the picket lines to show their support. All the episodes that were filmed have been aired, and there are no new scripts. Since the studios appear to be unwilling to negotiate and there's no end in sight for the strike, we probably won't see new episodes until fall 2008 or later.
probably never...the strike is pretty bad, I liked that hiro guy..yeah he was nerdy looking but he was the first asian guy with super powers and thats a start =*(

It will return (hopefully better than last season) about 3-6 months after the writer's strike concludes. Afterall, the scripts have to be written, the show needs to be cast and shot, and the footage needs to be edited and special effects need to be added. The turnaround for all of that takes several months. So it won't be as soon as the strike ends. That is why the strike is such a powerful statement. The networks are running out of fresh scripted programming. By March, they will be out of new scripted shows. If the strike isn't solved in the next month or two, Fall pilot season is screwed. So when will Heroes be back? Only the Association of Motion Picture and Television Producers can answer that when they return to the bargaining table with the Writers Guild of America. Also Screen Actors Guild negotiations need to go smoothly this summer as well or the actors will be striking too. In the meantime watch Terminator: The Sara Conner Chronicles on Fox until that runs out of episodes next month.
Probably next year if they can get it together after the strike is over
