For those who have Comcast on demand. Why is the Wire (the series) not showing o!
Question: Comcast cable network shows the HBO series "The Wire" and the episode due to come on this sunday 1/20/08 is supposed to show on monday 1/14/08 but it never came on. I already called the cable provider and they have no clue themselves. And I looked at the HBO as well as "The Wire" website as well. Any ideas??

Where are you located? I read on The Wire's forums that those in the NJ-Philly PA were having problems with Comcast not showing the latest eps on ON Demand. They all be fiending. I should know - I aint got HBO and I'm jonesing for it...just rewatching all eps S1 - S4 and reading it up on HBO.com
That sucks, sorry to hear. The cable in your area may just be jacked up temporarily. I live in Greeley, CO. and the new episode became available at about 12:05am on 1/14/08 Sorry I can't help you. There may be construction going on in your area (?) that could be affecting part of your service, (the cable company should have that info, and be able to tell you that's the problem, but with comcast, who knows). They kinda suck, In my opinion. You may need to have a cable technician come look at your house for problems. ???
