Question: Why are there such stupid people the first couple of weeks on American Idol? I'm watching it right now and I am lmao.... Why in the world do some of these people even try? That would be like me trying... and making myself look like an idiot.

i saw simon on 60 minutes and he said they show mostly bad or wierd people to make it interesting but they throw a couple of good ones in the mix we will enjoy it beyyer when they pick the best ones
The people who film the show edit it to make it interesting...And the people who choose go on it sign contracts I'm pretty sure to allow them to go on national TV.

i know and to think it was in my hometown of philly. i really felt bad for the 16 yr old girl though,but the stalker guy was really crazy. i mean really creepy.
THAT ONE WIERD GIRL ACTUALLY DIDN'T SING THAT 60's COVER SONG SO BAD BUT AS YOU ALL KNOW 60s MUSIC SEEMS TO BE TABU ON THIS SHOW BUT 20s 30s 40s 50s 70s DISCO NOT ROCK OR NEWER IS OK.PAYOLA AT ITS BEST FOR RYTHM & BLUES.IT WAS ONCE SAID "I CAN'T IMAGINE A ROCKER BEING "THE AMERICAN IDOL"
The producers put them there for the ratings because people find them funny.
The guy singing "Go Down Moses" made me laugh until my face was red.
