What sucks more? Soap operas or reality tv?!
Question: I think reality TV shows are worse than soap operas. A least with the soaps you often have entertaining storylines. I haven't found a reality show yet with one.

I can't tolerate either one! I haven't watched a soap opera in years and what I have seen when surfing, it's the same story just different characters.
That depends: Beauty and the Geek...VS...Young and Restless.....Y&R-----Next Top Model .....VS...So You Think You Can Dance....SYTYCD--------All My Children.....VS...American Idol.....A.I ....................So it depends on the type of soap or reality show. To me some reality shows are night-time soaps operas with a twist.....Most are just a waste of air-time, the same with most soaps.

Reality TV. Its not real. Its scripted & staged too. They (the producers)want viewers to think its spontanious....its not. Listen I didn't buy a surround system for and a HD tv for a silly competition between a bunch of nobodys.
I'll be glad when the writers stirke is over. Its time for some good TV shows like 24, Hereos, The Shield & Reaper...yes Reaper.
"Reality" TV is not even reality. It is unscripted crap. Plus, they are not acting like they would if there were no cameras. Most of those shows have spoiled, rich stupid kids throwing temper tantrums for drama. At least with soaps, you know what you are going to get.

reality, some of the stuff is boring, dumb and uninteresting. Soaps are highly entertaining!

there are lot of horrible reality shows out there. i love my soaps so even tho some shows suck reality shows (some) are alot worse.
reality TV...They want you to think it's real, when most of the time it's not.. At least with soaps you know it's fake.
I think the thing that sucks the most is people whose self image is so low that they have to spend their time making lame attempts to mock people just because they watch a tv program. Get over it.

Reality TV is worse, because it shows how morally low some of us have become, and is kind of sad if you really think about it. Soap operas can be good, they can be bad, they can be controversial, but they are still only a fantasy, and not real.
