It is a television program where contestants are put into a house and one is eliminated each week. It is shown on channel 4 and has gained critical acclaim.

i cant stand it and enough is really enough now. thats my opinion :) thanks for asking.
I personally don't like it and i could never see the appeal to be honest.
it started off as a good idea and good viewing but now it is just plain durge!
there no longer picking just the Normal Joe and Jane Bloggs its all these Wannabes who think they will get Modelling contract, Record Labels Signing them and all that! its embarrassing to watch now!
Athough i was interested to read in the paper that the SAS were going to go in there Hijack them and break them but i don't think it happened. that would have been cool! lol
It's purely 'voyeuristic', therefore the entertainment value is of a more watchable appeal to the lowest of the 'intellegentia' amongst us!......

I am afraid I cannot see the attraction in this type of programme. I think it panders to something unhealthy in the human psyche and is a first cousin to Voyeurism
It was barely 'innovative' television to begin with. Everyone kept going on about how it was the first reality TV show when it was first launched - no it wasn't. What about MTV's The Real World?
I think it's time for Channel 4 and every other broadcaster out there to wrap up the reality tv wagon. Can we please get back to producing and investing in quality sitcoms and dramas in this country? It's time to start nurturing proper talent and stop pandering to groups of wailing wannabes like Chanelle.
From what I have seen, I dont think it is very good. The idea behind it is good, but the people that go into the house now, know that they are being filmed!!

I hate the program, im fed up of seeing it on front of magazines, all over tv, just as i hated im a celebrity get me out of here, if you have time to watch some retarded program of people doing nothing, then you have time to get up and do something, it sure as hell isnt entertainment, its just being nozy
I thought it was an interesting concept when it first started, before the contestants all tried to use it as a launch pad for a glittering career as a 'celebrity'. It quickly lost it's interest for me, and now is laughably appalling.
A waste of TV space only watched by people who's own lives are so boring they've got to watch other peoples.
I watched Big Brother up until last year - this years' bores me!

It`s Cheap and Nasty. I only ever watched it once and that was enough.
I think it is possibly the worst TV programme ever. I really can't understand why anyone is interested in the antics of "ordinary" people or "celebrities" in a cage, allowing themselves to be made to do ludicrous things in the certain knowledge that they have been chosen to ensure there is some sort of conflict.
Before it was on UK TV I saw a documentary about the Dutch series and confidently predicted that no-one over here would be interested in such tripe! Oh how I overestimated the British viewing public.
I love it! But then again, I am quite a nosey person, I have watched every series since it first began, and have hardly ever missed an episode, apart from when I have been on holiday, and even then I would go on the Big Brother wesbite to see whats been going on!
I only watched the last 2 seasons, but I like it. I do get angry when someone I don't like wins (i.e. Dick) but overall I like it!!!
i think it's the best reality show on tv right now.... amazing concept... interesting to see how people are so easily influenced by other people... a+++
