I haven't seen his US comedy show, but he used to be great when he was part of the UK alternative comedy scene in the 1980s. He used to do a stand up routine as a character called "Bing Hitler", which was hilarious.
I also fondly remember his various guest appearances in British comedy shows like Red Dwarf and Chelmsford 123.
he was funny on the drew carey show.. he is ok on his own show. ( in the USA)
