Question: Okay they are playing old episodes all the time; However, last week was a new episode. But were back to repeats this week! Same think happened a month or two ago. Why mix up the new & old episodes.

they held back last week's episode until last week. that episode which was episode 11 was the last episode that they produced before the writers strike began, so now there is no new episodes to air. All the tv shows have held back episodes, because they have either ran out of new ones or about to run out.
there's is a re-run this thursday night and next thursday night. then on the 31st of January Lost goes into greys anatomy timeslot for 8 weeks. then when the strike is over they'll write and film more episodes, whenever that'll be. then we get new episodes.
Writers Strike - they're trying to prolong the season by keeping new episodes as long as they can.
It's because of the writer's strike. They don't have much new material (if any by now) to play, so they were airing reruns. Hopefully the writer's strike ends soon, because I want to get back to Grey's Anatomy!!!
if they are at different times, then they are in order, just at a certain time, is the new episodes and at another time are the old episodes.....i cant really explain it..
