schumigirl is absolutely right,sadly it is a scar due to a freak accident years ago, why are people badmouthing him? he's a legend. he may swear a lot in the kitchen but thats whats got him where he is today, his food is cooked to a great standard, i've seen a documentary on gordon and he's a great family man, and a really good father.
Cause he stabbed himself in the chin with one of his knives when he tasted his food and realised it was crap! lol....;)
