Who watched: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles on TV last night? Did you l!

Question: Sunday night was the season premier, tonight is another episode on Fox TV. I thought it was OK, what does everyone else think? Obviously the time-line starts after the second terminator movie but before the 3rd one. I like the new Terminator's in this series.

I'm willing to forgive them the obvious problems with the timeline they've created. In T3, Sarah was supposed to have died shortly after Judgement Day was supposed to have happened in August 1997, after fighting a long illness. Yet here she was in 1997 in fine form.

OK, so what do I actually think about the show. I like the idea of the tiny girl Terminator. Neat character. They've got a lot of potential with her. The story was OK, but I've got one question.

They left behind a high energy weapon and time machine in a bank vault in 1997. You'd think that would cause some serious problems, no?

I saw the commercials for it and thought it looked really sucky so I didn't bother actually watching the show. Just from the ads you can see how bad the acting and writing is.

I thought it was a bad idea when I heard of it coming out and, after seeing it, it was a REALLY REALLY BAD IDEA. The acting was cheesy, the storyline wasnt nearly as good as even the worst Terminator movie and to top it off... the "good" Terminator is the 85 lb chick from Serenity... yeah, she'll save you. One of the dumbest things I've ever seen, total disappointment... they should've just made another movie if they were trying to make a buck.

I dont get how people think this is pre-rise of the machines... From whats aired so far, its almost rise of the machines for TV... Even when the good terminator runs the bad terminator down with the truck, then turns to John and say "come with me if you want to live" that was lifted straight out of the movie when Arny drives the truck over the female terminator. The "I dont want to run anymore" come straight outta the last half of the movie when John and Claire Daines (whatever her name was in the movie) want to stand an fight buy Arny wants them to run to Mexico to wait out the nukes.... John even puts a gun to his own head and threatens to kill himself if they have to keep running cause "he cant do it anymore"...

Its like they just tuned up Terminator 3's script to allow Sarah to still be alive and made it a TV show.

I watched it and I actually thought it was pretty good. I just saw the first two Terminator movies so I'm not sure how this one fits into the third one, or how it will fit in to the upcoming movie as well.

Apparently a lot of people watched the premiere last night. It was the highest rated scripted series debut in two years. Of course how many stick around for tonights second episode remains to be seen.

I just watch this on Fox on Demand and I'm still in between. I had to watch the show twice so I can try an get a good feel for it. I'm still use to Linda Hamilton and Edward Furlong as the Connors. Linda Hamilton had that grity and harden edge to her and Furlong was a very likable John . The new actors have some big shoes to fill but I think Lena( Sarah) can be good but the actor playing her son seems a bit wooden. It is only the first episode and they may grow in time but with the Writer's Strike happening this show may suffer.

I think this show kind fits in like near the end of two and works it way up to the be like a prequel-ish to movie three " Rise of the Machines." If possible this series maybe the set-up or just filler of information to get fans pumped for the Terminator4 movie, which was a rumored that was floating around a few years back. But I'm not sure if T4 will be out anythime soon. Tfans can only cross their fingers and hope there will be a production anoncement soon.

No way! There's only one true Sarah Connor and that's Linda Hamilton. Who can forget how buff her arms were in T2?

Any other woman trying to portray Sarah is sacrilege! An abomination against God and man! They're heretics and shall burn!!

No sorry didnt watch it.. but might catch the next episode..Not really my cup of errr beer..LOL

I've never seen any of the Terminator movies but I watched anyways haha...I thought it was interesting! I'll watch tonight and see whether or not I'll continue with it...

i guess they are not going to have another movie then,. cause it will not make sense,.

I didn't but I had a friend that did after the game. Love, honey

it was freaking awesome, it is a good show. hope FOX doesn't cancel it like Drive.

i like this better than drive, which was really good.
