The Sarah Connor Chronicles. What's your opinion?!
Question: I saw the premiere tonight and I must say I was somewhat shocked and also somewhat annoyed.
The good--- it actually surprisngly had really good action scenes, and what not for a television show, and the plot wasn't too bad either. Seemed to make sense, and pick up really well.
The Bad-- Why the HELL did they cast that black haired woman to play Sarah Connor? She looks nothing like the one in the movies, has none of Linda Hamilton's acting abilities or even passion for the role. It's like they cast Holly Marie Combs from "charmed" to play a tough heroine chic, and it at least to me didn't seem to work at ALL, but she kind of started to be more believable as the show went on.
I think if you're going to base the show on Sarah Connor, at least make the casting good and give it to someone who's more believable.
I think they really screwed up with this actress, she just doesn't seem to fit here.
The kid who plays John is pretty good though.

well it is true this show has some big shoes to fill but lets face it Terminator the movie is a classic one of a kind it can't be totally comparedto the show is not fair, in the other hand i really liked Sarah Connor i think she can act that role very well she has attitude and fear, as for John great choice way better than the Third movie what were they thinking. what so far i found ify is the terminator i mean come on the actor who those this role has to realize what a great Job Arnold did his face was neutral all the time like a robot should be this one guy he would show too much Human emotion when he shot his gun his mouth would show anger and move too much that was not good at all to me the girl did a way better job as the good terminator, but overall great action, great plot i love the Terminator movies, so I' am looking forward to the next episode
i disagree with the sarah connor casting opinion. i liked her. i was mad when i first heard the lady from 300 would replace linda. But i got over it. her hair color didn't save the world, she and her son did. besides linda hamilton doesn't have the passion for the role her self since she was killed off in the third one. i thought the mom was tough enough and had deep passion for her son and i personally think that by looking in her eyes that she been through some s#%&!
Overall sucked. Yes there was good action, the chick playing Sarah sucks at the role in my opinion. And I really wish they would have tried harder to make it fit in with the movies as far as the timeline goes. The new terminator chick is hot though, so that makes the show worth watching.
thought it was great. everything about it was awesome. turned out way better then I thought it was gonna. I cant wait for the second episode
The new Sarah Connor looked prettier than the avg looking old Sarah Connor. But to me, they resembled each other a little from certain angles. I liked the story and the smooth transition from terminator 2. I never liked the terminator 3 story line, especially the ending. I like both new Sarah Connor and John Connor.
