What's the name of an old paranormal/detective TV show?!
Question: I remember watching a paranormal/detective TV show along time ago. The main character in the TV show reminded me of Peter Falk in Columbo so it's not him.
I also remember an interview with Chis Carter saying he was a big fan of that show and that is how he got his idea the write X Files.
It was one of those shows where he was the only one that saw the weird stuff and of course they all thought he was making it up.
Has anyone got any ideas what the name of the actor and show is called.

It's probably Darrin McGavin in the Kolchak The Night Stalker. Very cool show for the time.
