Triplicate Girl comes from a world called Cargg where the people can split themselves into three. To lose a self to her is just like losing a sister and watching yourself die at the same time. The same thing happened to her in the comics years ago by different circumstances. In both instances she called herself Duo Damsel. As for Saturn Girl's coma, she was knocked silly by Esper of the Legion of Super Villians when they fought. That was after the Legionaires that went to the future got back and join the others in trying to get the villians that Imperiex broke out. It was there that Saturn Girl was put in a coma. Lightning Lad vowed to avenge her. In the same battle Matter-Eater Lad went insane after eating some of the Emerald Empress' Emerald Eye. Since then Imperiex has been trying to conquer the 31st Century with the help of aliens called the Dominators and others. He even employs villians such as Validus and Persuader from the Fatal Five and at one time Lightning Lord (Garth's brother Mekt). It was during the time Lightning Lord was with Imperiex that Lightning Lad lost his arm to Imperiex. His arm is now replaced with a mechanical prosthetic that uses his lightning as a greater weapon. That same episode also reunited the brothers with their sister Ayla who was lost in a cosmic storm that contained her still a little girl. Lightning Lord gave himself up and went to prison at the end. The Superman from the past was reunited with his fellow Kryptonians in the bottle city of Kandor. The city was the capital of Krypton but was shrunk by Brainiac 1.0, Brainiac 5's ancestor, before Krypton exploded. Imperiex broke into Superman's Fortress to find a special stone there to use as weapon. Brainiac 5 went deep into himself and access Brainiac 1's memories to find a way to help find the stone and enlarge Kandor. He opened himself up to Brainiac who has a plan for him. After enlarging Kandor on New Krypton and wiping Superman's memories of the event he has a strange almost evil smile on his face at the end. Timber Wolf was accused of murdering his father and was kicked out of the Legion. He escaped Legion capture and with Phantom Girl and Chameleon Boy's help found the truth about what happened. His father faked his death and pinned it on his son in an attempt to get him back. His powers have expanded somewhat in the episode and he was accepted back into the Legion. The Legion inducted three new members, Karate Kid, Nemesis Kid, and the Superman from the 51st Century. Karate Kid doesn't have super powers but is one of the foremost martial artists in the galaxy. Nemesis Kid can nullify the powers of others temporarily. Nemesis Kid and Karate Kid were helpful in capturing Grimbor the Chainsman in their first episode appearance. There may be some connection between Nemesis Kid and Grimbor because his chains and the Kid's powers are similar. The Legion may have a problem in the future. Almost forgot, Imperiex and 51st century Superman temporarily joined forces against one called the Terra-Man. Terra-Man was sent by the beings in the 51st century who created Superman to go after someone in the past. Like the movie Terminator, Terra Man was sent to kill a kid who would grow up to create the technology that would be used in the future to create Imperiex. The same episode also gave a short version of Imperiex's origin. He was a slave who over time in battles was grafted with technology and became Imperiex. That should bring you up to speed on what has happened in the show.
