Dave Allen was wonderful I once saw him live in Cabaret ,He was a bit controversial because he told religious jokes ,Which upset a few,Bob Monkhouse too was excellent in Cabaret ,I also Liked Duncan Norville do you remember him One of the first Camp Comedians ,But I think Maybe the Cleverest and Funniest is Ken Dodd

dave allen used to have me wet myself with laughter. quality humour. i love Joan rivers, how funny is she. peter Kaye is brilliant, i think maybe because i relate to his humour because its my age group and catherine tates comedy sketches is hilarious. i rate these because it takes a lot to make me laugh and they succeed every time. actually, i watched ken dodd on tv recently and surprisingly he was quite funny too.
I loved Richard Pryor and currently I really love Wanda Sykes. And I will always love Chris Farley....what a brilliant physical comedian!

Believe me the funniest comedian you will ever see is Ken Dodd not only is he funny he doesn't want to stop. He has been known to go on for hours.
Dave Allen, looks just like my Father which use to make it even funnier for us, yes he was great.
Have you read his autobiography its very good.
Harry Hill is my fav. comedian now he is very underrated.
