What's so special about oprah?!
Question: I too have fallen off the Oprah wagon.
There are things in particular that really set me off. When she has someone on and she also has "an expert". She doesn't let the expert talk she says what she wants to say and then turns to the expert and says "right?". The poor guy or woman just says "yes".
She's just gotten too full of herself. On the other hand she has helped many people and she brings hope and opportunity to millions. You have to give credit where it is earned.
I just wish all these ladies in the audience would stop howling like she some priestess or something.

I used to like her but she has gotten so pushy & brag's too much. She is very self absorbed & thinks she's God's gift to t.v.
I was an Oprah fan for a long time because she seemed to be real. Somewhere down the line, she started taking herself and her power seriously and she lost me. I dont hear a lot of people say they like Oprah now.
I agree with the other posters ....I use to really enjoy her show ..most of the times it was things I could relate to ...but over the past she seems she has changed ...I know she is wealthy and is very powerful...but she seems to kinda puts herself higher than us ....and drops little slirs kinda like the day she had her give a way ...she said gave away some cleaning stuff and she said she enjoyed to clean but that was only because she didn't have to....it was just kinda ....bragging ....and I guess she has the right to....but I just don't think she really tries to do down to earth programs anymore ...... And can you guys imagine what it will be like if Obama gets elected ...not that that is a bad thing ....just that I am sure she will feel she played a big part in that....

Was wondering the same thing...... once in awhile will tune in when I think she will have interesting guests but most of the time, I forget she is on....

I think people originally liked her because she worked her way up from nothing and showed a lot of care and compassion about issues, who she was talking to and her work. But I think she has floated far from her down to earth personality she portrayed years ago as a result of her great wealth.

She is the most powerful woman in the media today, couple that with the fact that she is African American, and that is a hell of an accomplishment. She can say whatever she wants and spin it and it will fly because she has that kind of network juice.
Oprah is a nice caring and an amazing woman and I don't believe that there are people who don't like her. She may seem a little arrogant to some but it is my goal to meet her at least once.

Oprah started from nothing to something and has created a good thing! She has also helped alot of people over the years. It seems like people have alot of negative things to say about her since she came out after all these years and said that she supported someone like Obama. Give me a break..the second this women voices her opinion about politics, they want to turn their back on her but some of those people were at her show getting those free gifts..what a joke!
She gives her audience a ton of stuff for free. I remember one year on one of her shows when everyone in her audience got a brand new car.
