the greatest TV show of all time means it has had to be around for a long time so that leaves out anything after Jerry debuted and something that will be watched 20 years from now and alot of the current shows are barely watchable now so how are they to stand up to the test of time so the answer would be the Andy Griffith Show followed by Gunsmoke two classic shows that can be watched with ease today i would be remiss if i did not give a shout out for South Park

Probably would be I LOVE LUCY, it has certainly been one of the longest running, re running, re running, rerunning, there is hardly a day that you cannot catch some episode of the show. Plus it was funny without being vulgar or trashy.
