The REAL Greenlee versus the current Greenlee?!
Question: I never liked Greenlee when Rebecca Budig played the character but I finally started liking Greenlee when Sabine Singh took over the role and made it her own. What is your opinion?

I like Sabine. Don't even get me started on Rebecca Budig. And I hate the way ABC is promoting her return. It's a slap in the face to Sabine Singh. I hope she (Sabine) goes on and lands a top job somewhere. Budig is, well, over-rated. Way over-rated.
Rebecca can and will be the only Greenlee. No one can pull off her sacasm as good as Rebecca
I actually like Rebecca better. But, Sabine was ok. I think that Sabine played Greenlee differently than Rebecca, she put her own spin on the character. That is what any good actress would do when taking over a role. However, the way ABC has handled this is tasteless. They should have sent Greenlee away & when she came back it could have been Rebecca. I think that it is shameful that they are running those "the real Greenlee is back"ads while Sabine is still on screen as Greenlee.

I never took to Sabine, there is only one Greenlee. When Rebecca first came on, I hated her, then she made me care about Greenlee and like her. I can not wait to see her again.
Rebecca is the Greenlee I like, Sabrina was horrible at acting in the case of Greenlee. Rebecca will always be the true Greenlee. I quit watching when Rebecca left, I can fianlly watch again in 6 days!! I'm sorry but Sabrina was awful as Greenlee just not her part to play. Maybe she can be on another soap like one life to live she may be better at it if she plays her own character instead of replacing someone else. The REAL Greenlee all the way! Welcome back Rebecca! You rock! SHe is the true Greenlee no one can ever be as good as her when it comes to playing Greenlee. No one.
Sorry to say, but I am totally opposite of you. I liked Greenlee until Sabine Singh took over and have actually stopped watching it as much, but now that Rebecca Budig is coming back I have my DVR set so I won't miss anything. For me the sparks and chemistry just isn't there with the current Greenlee.
First of all, there *is* no *real* Greenlee. There is Rebecca Budig who originated the role, and there is Sabine Singh who assumed the role after Rebecca left. And someone needs to tell that to All My Children and ABC because their commercials are an insult to Sabine and the viewers. While it took me awhile to get used to her, I feel Sabine finally took the role and made it her own. And even though they have the right to replace her with the original, the way they did it was so insulting, Rebecca may find it hard to gain her fan base back, not because of anything she did, but because of the way ABC/AMC treated Sabine. Lots of people think it really su****d. I'm one.
I liked the original greenlee, however, i do not like the new campaign...that is too tacky and not fair to the current actress.
I think the commercial where it says "THE REAL GREENLEE RETURNS" that is rude to the current Greenlee they should say the original Greenlee returns but I haven't watched AMC in several years since Miranda went back to oh crap what is her name...Kendall's sister or when the baby's were switched and Adam took back his baby, well I can't just remember what....
i really really like rebecca. but however, i do agree that it is kind of mean to sabine to say "the real greenlee" all the time.. i would think it would make sabine feel like her time on the show didnt matter, ya know???
but im excited about rebecca returning. and as far as her getting back w/ ryan, i wonder how they will play that off...
I never took to Sabine totally but I grew to accept her as Greenlee. But to my mind when I think of the character Rebecca comes to mind. But I am sick of hearing the 'real' Greenlee. It is such a slap in the face to Sabine, who I'm sure was doing her best. If they have to do this promotional thing at all they should refer to RB as the 'original' Greenlee and not the real one.
It's really hard when you have such a unique character and the actor that originated it, for some else to come in and take over. While I think Sabine rose to the challenge and has done an awesome job, I am excited that Rebecca is coming back. I also agree with alot of you that ABC/AMC has handled Rebecca's return wrong. I feel for Sabine everytime I see an ad or here a promo.
