Our news goes off @ 10:35 so the late night shows come on @ that :35 time. Then @ 2:00am it catches the already in progress show.

The news goes off at 11:35 But after the Late, Late Show, which goes off at about 1:38 a.m. news is not shown, it's either religion or infomercials.
It's exactly the same here.
