My wife and I have started watching show that were on in the same time slot as our favorites. That's helped, plus we found some really good shows we never watched before.
We also record old episodes of Two and Half Men and Friends.

that big bang theory show is really good.
but they only have three episodes due to the strike.
b/c monday night is our "tv" night b/c thats when all the shows like how i met you mother and big bang theory come on. they are all really funny. but we dont watch alot of tv anyways so its okay just as long as desperate housewives and brothers and sisters come back ill be fine.....
No, I watch sports and the movie channels, hasn't affected me in the least.
We've been watching TV shows on DVD, trying to catch up with some we fell behind on as well as trying out new (to us) shows. Watching classics like Lost in Space on DVD is fun too.
