No its not scripted. Sometimes the camera crew will give the cast sort ov pushing to talk about something (like tell Lauren to talk about something Heidis done) or something and sometimes they need to re-enact the scenes because someone walked in front of the shot or sumthng but its not scripted in the sense that theyre all friends once they get off camera and start bitching once filming starts again, theyre just given cues to talk about a topic and stuff.
not scripted per se, but it's certainly not reality. i remember reading in a magazine that, at least once, some of the people created drama and the second the filming stopped, they apologized saying they were just trying to make for good television. i wouldn't get too emotionally attached to it.
i am a huge fan of the hills and i don't think that its scripted, it might be, it hasn't been coming on lately why?
OMG....yes....duh....The Hills is scripted just like ALL other reality tv shows. The reason that reality television shows are not affected by the strike is that they employee non-union writers.

well all of the the situations are set up and lets just say some of the couples on the show aren't really dating in real life

they might have a little push on a FEW things but for the most part i think its just as we see it
