I heard on the news this morning that he was "injured whilst on the filming set". It didn't say anything about him hurting himself so I assumed he just had an accidental injury!

This is really sad, the Bill is the only soap I watch and I do like "Reg Hollis". Talk about putting the old ones out to pasture.
I think it is every sad and wish him all the best, at least he had a change of mind and called for help before it was too late. My thoughts are with him.
Yeah, I think its terrible of them not to renew his contract most people love Reg, and he's been with them for 20 years. He was probably really distressed that he's got nothing else, poor guy :(
