Bruno vs Carrie Ann?!
Question: I'm not a fan of reality tv. I don't think anyone with two braincells would find it entertaining but here goes. I, for some reason sat down in the living room last night and mom was watching it. Ok, it's a show called "dance war" but you have to sing as well? Doesn't that defeat the purpose? Seriously. This isn't American Idol. They're sending people home because they're bad singers? Ok, what sense does that make? Am I missing something here? Or is TV really become this pathetic? These are two tv judges forming a dance team, where does the singing come in? The contestants on "Dancing with the stars" didn't have to sing, what gives? Also, what's with every elimination show having a mean british judge? Overkill!!!! LOL I may have answered my own question, but I'm curious about the singing, can anyone give me an answer here?

Writer's Strike. Not necesserily the reason for THIS show but it is the reason we will see so many MORE reality shows this winter. AGH!. It got good ratings. It was mildly entertaining. I won't stay home to watch it, though!
I love DWTS and have watched it faithfully since its first season, and TIVO'd it so I didn't miss an episode. It's been my guilty pleasure for years now.
That said, I was planning to watch Bruno vs Carrie Ann and had it set on my TIVO in case I missed the first eppy. But when I turned it on last night I thought, can I stand two whole hours of those two (especially Bruno)? They are fun for a minute or two at a time, six or seven times an hour, but nuh uh. I changed the channel.
I just realized I didn't even address the premise of the show LOL. Oh well . . . I guess you can tell I wouldn't have minded it much, but it's quite different from DWTS, which is the only reality show I care to watch.

I watched it..I think they are going to try and have a musical competition at the end or something...would have been nice if they would let us in on it though....I thought it was only supposed to be dancing too....that one chick with the long brown hair (who got the boot) could dance her butt off! she couldn't sing a lick though....(she did the carol channing voice)...shame...now it is just going to be a show with mediocre dancing and singing instead of just being great at one thing....
