Anyone Enjoyed watching American Gladiators???!
Question: I saw American Gladiators last night and it was very cool! I really did enjoy it but I can't wait for tonights eposide. I have never seen American Gladiators but it was my first time and I enjoyed it. is anyone watching it tonight and did anyone watch it yesterday night?

i watched it last night with my boyfriend. we would watch it before when it was much older and i liked it cuz those plp would make me laugh so bad. i think its fun to watch. it cracks me up!! i think its better now with hulk hogan and stuff. the old american gladiators was just hilarious! but so is the new one!
I did - it was pretty good and we will prob. watch again tonight!!
I watched it a lot as a kid, so last night was REALLLY fun. I loved the part when the gladiator grabbed the girl on the rings and flipped over. That girl was crazy to hold on. It was great.
My husband and I watched it.....loved it....my husband and I both watched it years ago....glad to see they dont have all "pretty boy" gladiators this time!!!!
Not sure how many of the people watching the new one last night remember the old American Gladiators, but with the exception of Hulk Hogan, the new one is pretty lame. The old one obviously had huge men and women wrestling the crap out of the contestants but they didn't make it a point to give their character names more personality by doing things you would associate with that word. Yes, we know your name is Wolf. You don't need to howl when you tackle that guy who's half your size. And Toa (or was it Koa), we're all aware that you're big and Hawaiian. That's already obvious by your name and tribal tattoo around your neck. It isn't really that critical to the show that you talk smack in hawaiian while you flex your muscles. The only redeeming characters are the good looking female gladiators (NOT Hellga). The events seem to be made even safer than they were back in the 80's which is sad because everything is padded and there is no chance of even a scraped knee. Basically, you can consider this show to go the same route as Cavemen.
My boyfriend and I used to love the original American Gladiators and were extremely disappointed by the new version. It just seemed so fake, a majority of the activities involved water, and the Eliminator was a flop in my eyes (wht a very anti-climactic finale). All the old tasks were gone, replaced by ones with less excitement for me. Maybe it has to do with my age, but I miss the old school version.
