Why did they kill off this TV character? Please answer if you have seen Degrassi!
Question: MAJOR SPOILERS IF YOU WATCH DEGRASSI! Ok anyways......I heard that the guy who played J.T. (Ryan Cooley) wanted off of the show so he could go to college. I also heard that he was told that his character would be killed off from the beginning. So what happened?

the show was lacking drama. his character was supposed to die in the hospital when he took the pills, but the writers decided against it. they did it to bring the story back. and yes, he offered to be the one killed becuase he wanted to go to school.
they do that b cause peoples concracts last 4 a while plus they have other shows2 do
wat happened to jt was that he got liberty pregnant.. okay so he took some drugs... survived that way after she had the baby.... jt was with another girl.. and manny had broken up with craig... so she wanted to have a party so and it was liberty's birthday.. so she thought of a a birthday party for liberty... and it was going to be a small party it turned into a major party bc some ppl over heard other ppl and spreaded and the lake hurst guys came and they did something.. jt said to toby that he wanted liberty back.. and liberty was walking outside.. jt was going to look for her to tell her... and the lakehurst guys was at jt's car going to the bathroom jt said haha very funny couldn't find a bathroom huh... and then jt was unlocking his car one of the guys got mad took out the pocket knife.. jt had no idea this was going to happen and then the lakehurst guy stabbed it in jts back.. liberty found him had him sent to the hospital.. before the doctors came manny kept blaming herself for throwing the party.. and emma's boyfriend said it wasn't her fault it just happened... um the doctor came and said does he have any relatives here yet.. emma said his grandmother will b here in a couple of hours.. toby came out behind emma.. and said(he lied) i'm his brother the doctor told him what was fractured and couldn't save jt... that's when liberty turned to toby and said what happened they all were hugging liberty... bc... it wasn't supposed to happen and liberty still had feelings for him.. at the funeral.. liberty wasn't crying but then at the memorial when the one girl who has a daughter wanted to play the movie of jt playing with isabella... then that's where liberty started crying....
