He married Young and the Restless co-star Amelia Heinle (Victoria) in March 2007. He became stepfather to Amelia's son August Weatherly, and the couple welcomed their first child together, a son, Thaddeus Rowe on 2 November 2007. Rowe (as he is affectionally known) is the first child for Luckinbill and second for Heinle.
