Father Dougal: Did you ever see that film, Ted, where your man has his head transplanted onto a fly, and the fly's head was transplanted onto the man?
Father Ted: Oh, yes... what was it called...?
Father Dougal: "Out Of Africa", I think. Anyway, your man has the head of the fly and he's chasing his wife all over the place and she's hiding the jam and everything so he won't get stuck in it...
Father Ted: I'll have to stop you there, Dougal.
Father Dougal: Yes, Ted?
Father Ted: No reason. I just have to stop you.

Their all good in the their own way though, hard to pick just one. I loved that Programme.

Has to be Dougal, just because he's so cute and innocent. I like the cows scene, and the whole of the "Speed 3" episode.
Mrs Doyle! the one who alway wants to make father ted a cup of tea.
Funniest episode for me was one of the christmas specials ones i think, where father ted gets a tea machine and she comes down in the middle in the night to break it out of jealousy.
And she falls out the window trying to put up the christmas decorations!!!!!

my favorite is when doogle puts on the TV and jack wakes up and throws a bottle at it. lol and then later doogle puts the tv frame over his head, jack wakes up and says, 'whats that gob shite doing on the Telly!!??' oh and when the whole tv's gone and doogle trys to check whats on, and says, 'still not working ted' lol

I grew up in a small village in Ireland and some of it was very close to home, my fav. character would be Fr Liam the camp youth club priest as I knew youth leaders like that!!

Dougal definitely. His innocence and stupidity just makes him hilarious.
Different episodes I love are the one with the young people in the caravan with Graham Norton and also the episode at the caves. I also like the pensioners football match and the one at Christmas when they get lost in the lingerie department of the store.
My favorite is Father Dougal..he says the supidest things! my favorite episode is the plague of rabbits episode! i've watched it so many times
