Has anyone ever been to Oprah? What should I expect?!
Question: I GOT RESERVATIONS!!! (yeah!) So what happens? What should I expect? I have to be there at 7am! If you have to use the restroom during taping, do they have breaks? What happens before?

I've been to her show twice but the last time was over 10 years ago. I'm sure things have changed. All personal items go through a metal detector - purses, backpacks etc... it's one just like at the airport. No cameras are allowed in the studio, if you bring one they will give you a claim check and you can get it back after the show. You can go to the bathroom during commercial breaks but if you take too long and the show starts taping again you have to wait until the next break to go back to your seat. They do not want you to wear white, not sure why.... I had a great time at both tapeings - good luck !!!!
Sorry, I can't help it...I don't like Oprah I think she's a fake. I wish she would stfu already...but I hope YOU have fun!

I've never been to oprah, but I've been to other talk shows. It's very exciting, and the host usually comes out before the taping to get everyone pumped up for the show. the breaks (commercial breaks) are very short so it's best 2 go before the show starts...limit your liquid intake!! Have fun!!! Can you let us know what it was like?

they do have breaks between comrcials. and you should expect a great time! your probbably going to get some free stuff too. TELL OPRAH I SAID HI.
Friends of mine went several years ago and they enjoyed it very much. Sorry, they didn't mention anything about breaks. Oprah's people told my friends what colors NOT to wear - I remember white was one of them. There's a girl who "warms" up the audience before O makes her appearance. Have fun! You'll enjoy it.
Expect to get free stuff! Take along a big bag to put it all in.
