What is the name of that show that premiered around the same time that Supernatu!
Question: I think they both started in Fall 2006. This show was a lot like Supernatural in that it was the sci-fi type show. I can't remember what network it was on, but I think it had something to do with a whole town becoming possessed, possibly by the water. In fact, I think the premiere had them showing something unknown in the water. I can't remember the name of this show for anything and was wondering if it was still on!!

You are talking about "Invasion". The show used to come on ABC and wasn't picked up for a new season. A town in Florida is hit with a hurricane and weird lights are seen by some dropping into the water. Some people happen upon the lights which look like manta rays are taken. When the people are seen again they are ususally found naked and lost. All are found near the water. An agent played by Eddie Cibrian discovers that those that come back are strangely different. In time he learns that the people including his ex-wife are actually copies made by the creatures after getting and usually killing the original. I used to watch that show a few years ago. It was an interesting take on Invasion of the Body Snatchers hence the name "Invasion." They cancelled the show on a cliffhanger. Hate when they do that. Could you possibly be thinking of the show "Surface"? Although I don't rememeber anyone becoming possessed by the water, it had to do with 'unknowns' in the water. It was on NBC and it came out actually in 2005, which is the same year Supernatural came out.

If that is what you're thinking of, the show only lasted one season and was cancelled.
