Not to be a wet blanket, but you need to start by studying acting. If you have access to a school for the performing arts, try to get admitted. If not, try to find an acting coach and take lessons. Like any other craft, you have to train long and hard to be good, and that means learning from a good teacher. Try contacting local playhouses and see if they can recommend someone to help you out or if they have a program for teenagers. Join the drama club at school and get involved with school plays, and talk to your drama teacher about how to learn and improve.
Depending on where you live will make things easier but start by looking up local things on line. Note: you need parent permission usually. You can audition for things like commercials and stuff. I live in New Mexico and I have it kind of easy because they are always shooting movies near where you Iive. You just need to look up local things. You will probably start out small like ads or commercials before you go to actual T.V shows. ~Good Luck

you can just go to open auditions where you live but mostly in ny or la. just make sure you have your headshots and are really good before you go. best wishes.
