What happened to the good old game shows on TV....like it was in the 90s?!

How come there's no game shows (well very little) on TV anymore? It's all reality TV, diet, fashion, poor sitcoms, american imports and soaps nowadays. Surely the gameshow era is due a ressurection?

very true i even remember quizzes like Sale of the Century, Gambit, 3-2-1,Winner Takes it All and The Krypton factor, as well as all the great you mentioned above.
The problem now days is as you say reality/celebrity TV at its worst, its just the same concept with the same handful of presenters with each of them having a different working title, they all come under the one title, RUBBISH.

yes i miss 3 2 1 and blankety blank ,there was so many to list i think the bbc and itv should revamp a few at least i also loved its a knock out and the gladiators all the family loved all these shows and grew up watching them its a terrible loss
