Ugly Betty isn't reality, but I love that too! umm, A Shot at Love, Amazing Race, I only like the first part of American Idol where they put all those crazy characters on and they make complete fools of themselves.

i just watched newport harbor on mtv it was on last year i think but they did a little special home for the holidays... really i love it they are soo cute and usually i hate those shows...but these kids are actually kinda real and very sweet..not fake snobs like all the rest of those shows..you guys should check it out
I love American Idol, all the stupid love shows like Rock of Love, I love New York, and A shot of Love. I also love all the Real Worlds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Hills, Runs House, and Rob and Big are also my fav.

UG, none of them.Not at all. I wish it would go away.
For one thing, it's not real. It's fake, produced, and manipulated. The producers start drama and then edit it to their advantage. I have been on a reality tv "set"/filming, and to be honest, the environment was toxic. It was spiritually draining. I never nap, and I have tons of energy. But I just felt so slimed after that, I slept for a whole day and night, and then laid in bed all the next day. There is a reason the people on their are crazy- only crazies can or would handle it. It was the most disgusting feeling of my life, bar none. It wasn't a trashy one like "I love New York" either, it was one that is considered more classy.
For another, it comepletely does away with privacy and tact. Look at Newlyweds. Too many people seeing that marriage. There are already no barriers. We don't respect people, and we don't respect sex. This is just another way we aren't actually living our lives. We are having our experiences vicariously through these morons. It's also a complete product of the narcissistic "look at me" culture and mindset. We love the idea that anyone could be on that show and be famous. We love to worship an individual, then see them knocked to the ground. A lot of reality tv is mocking. I just think it's all stupid, exploitative, and morally lacking.
You don't put CAMERAS in your HOME! You can't raise children like that! It's awful. People are not themselves when a camera is on 99 percent of the time. These kids on Run's House and Snoop Dogs crib or whatever are going to have issues if the cameras stay for long.
I can tolerate Road Rules, Project Runway, and The Amazing Race.
