Who else think American Dad has overtaken it's parent show Family Guy?!
Question: I really think the humour in American Dad is a lot better than Family Guy..and I prefer to watch it than Family Guy now! The characters are better too!
Stan > Peter - Stan is funnier because he makes stupid decisions and comments even though most the time he is serious..whereas Peter is just a plain idiot..
Francine > Lois - Francine is funnier because she is a lot more edgier
Hayley > Meg - No contest everyone hates Meg
Steve > Chris - Steve is just a lot funnier especially with his friends
Roger > Brian - Roger is one of the best characters on the show and has some of the best catchphrases !! "Ooooh dimmer switches DIMMER SWITCHES !!" lol
Klaus > Stewie - The only character that Family Guy wins..Stewie is a lot better than Klaus..

American dad is pretty funny but the characters are not better. I do like Steve better than Chris, but the rest of the family guy characters are by far better than American dad's. I really think Family guy is just a much better rounded comedy.

I agree with Roscoe, Steve is the only American Dad character that wins over his Family Guy counterpart in my opinion.
