Question: I am looking for the best starship fighting scenes from any of the shows, whether it's Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, or Voyager. In particular, I'd love to hear which episodes featured the ship fighting multiple smaller ships. Lots of phaser fire, lots of photon torpedos. Please let me know which show, season, and episode if possible.

Two episodes of Star Trek Voyager come to mind: "Year of Hell" and "Endgame"
Year of Hell: Voyager is crippled while battling a renegade Krenim with a temporal weapon that changes the timeline. Voyager can't figure out where or why they are being fired on. The final scene of the episode is awesome with an amazing conclusion in the battle! (Season 4/Episode 77)
Endgame (part 2): The final episode of the STV series. Being pursued by the borg and armor plating technology makes this a thrilling battle sequence! (Season 7/Episode 171)

What about the original series? WIth the remastered episodes in HD, you might get some great material from them.
I haven't seem them all, but off the top of my head, Balance of Terror is a good place to start.
