yes there is. it was going to air in january like always but since the writers strike they moved the shows premiere to september 2008.. i am a huge fan!

A new season is planned, but the writer's strike is throwing off the schedule. I believe that they have at least some of the episodes already written but not the entire season.
there's 8 episodes of 24 for season 7 already made. It was scheduled to start Jan 13th, but was postponed indefinately until the strike ends. It IS NOT moved to Sept. 2008, nothing has been announced as of yet. This strike could drag on, or could end tomorrow - we just have to wait and see.
