My brother said the writer's strike is over, is it true?!

Question: nope, it's still going strong. the production companies refuse to give up those 7 cents to the writers, so basically don't expect any new episodes of tv shows or any good movies to start coming out for at least a few months. (that's 8 weeks and counting!)

Last time there was a strike it lasted almost 22 weeks (almost half a year!) so here's hoping this gets resolved sooner.

i hope!

Definitely not true.

I seriously doubt it is. I know David Letterman and Craig Ferguson have gone back on the air despite this.

no

Yahoo does have a news section. I suggest you start there, if you see no stories on it, I'd try MSNBC.com and CNN.com

nope it is still going on

I don't think so.

from listening to news i think its still on
wonder if as ordinary people we cant help like boycott the big money peoples products like have a set day nobody buys
anything dvds.see movies shut the tv off
this strike just doesnt just affect the writers and probably
has filtered down hard on to the little guy
