No, it hasn't been canceled. Like most television shows, it has went on a winter hiatus. In the case of this show, the next new episode isn't until the end of this month.
His orginal diagnosis team, he fired/had quit. It was kinda sad so the past who knows how many eposides he had canadites. each eposide he'd fire one. I don't remember how many are left I missed the last eposide. I don't think that FOX writers went on strike the new season of House show start up later this month
