In the end Elliot goes by and apologizes for making fun of him and carries him to the end of the finish line, with 2 minutes to spare.

J.D. runs a triathelon in My Day At The Races to try and complete something special before he turns 30... Also in that episode Turk uses Hypnosis on a patient instead of Anesthesia. It is in season 5 episode 3 :)
