Heroes: Sylar?!

Question: What exactly does he do with the brains? Eat them?

Or maybe he touches the brains and an electronic pulse goes thru his fingers and the ability pulsates back to him and he absorbs every one of the other abilities like a sponge. I dunno, that's just my theory.

I don't think he eats them. When he was a watchmaker/repairer, he seemed to have the ability to "see" how things worked right down to the minutiae. I think when he exposes the brains of his victims, he is able to look and see how the ability works and then take it for himself. i will admit the how he takes it escapes me.

I think he eats them, but i'm not sure. I guess they want him to be mysterious.

It seemed to me that he took a part of the brain out and ..yeah.. ate it...

i think he just cuts the persons head open. thats what he does every murder. if he did eat it he could get the brain someway else.

Eats them? Really? C'mon people, think. We saw in the origins episode that he could look at watches and know what was wrong with them. That was his original power, he can look at things and know how they work. When he was talking to the telekinetic guy, he started to see how the power worked. He just looks at their brain, then his original power lets him see exactly how they did their power and he's able to replicate it. He probably just throws the brain away.

I highly doubt he eats them; the heroes are portrayed at normal people & normal people (most of the time) don't eat brains.

I never really gave it much thought, but I be if the writers explained it; your second theory is more accurace

:-)

he flushes them down the toliet, he absorbs the powers and then disposes of the brains, thinking that now no one else can absorb anything, this way only he has the power. Never do you see blood on his mouth, but look at the toliets in the background, bloody.

I am pretty sure he eats them. In every summary I have read for a heroes episode it always says that Sylar is eating someone's brain. I don't think he can just look at the brain. he can look at mechanical things and understand it but if he could look at anything and understand how it works then his power would be strong enough that Chandra Suresh would not have been disappointed at his apparent lack of power.
