Question: I used to watch a comedy show where old movies were chopped up and the scenes rearranged to follow a new story line. New dialogue was dubbed in. It was not Mystery Science Theatre 3000. It might have run in the 70's or (more likely) the 80's. Hope someone out there remembers the title...

"Mad Movies with the L.A. Connection" (which was syndicated in 1984-85 and then leased to the early Nick at Nite in 1985-87) is the show you're looking for.
